Work trips
Why is it when I go on a work trip, for just a few days, the girl uses it as an excuse to have a change of heart and just drop away? That's twice now. I don't like that one bit. I mean, this one wasn't on any strong trajectory, but it was working its way up there, and I was being patient and relaxed. At least it got me thinking about improving my wardrobe and making myself more presentable. Mental note: don't meet new girls right before you're about to travel, even if it's just for a few days.
