[Going down in Joshua's good books for the calm attitude. He doesn't need to deal with people freaking out, nope nope.]

The where is relatively simple. This is Vatheon, a city located on a different world entirely. As far as the why is concerned...well, we don't really know.

It occurs every fortnight, and lasts no more than a week. We call it a 'curse' because something random happens to us. It rarely effects the entire city, but it does happen.
