I haven't written here in quite some time. Things have certainly changed in the past few years. I'm currently in Columbus, OH. I suppose I like it well enough. Adam and I finally got married back in May, and it was absolutely beautiful...everything I could ever dream of and then some. It all went so smoothly, I sometimes have a hard time realizing it's been over 6 months since we got married. Adam was playing last year with the Charleston Symphony in South Carolina, living in my parent's house, and helping them fix it up. Then, he won a job with the Columbus Symphony last march (hence, the living in Columbus now). Who knows where we'll end up next year, but Houston has already posted their 4th horn opening and I hear Boston has a position opening up as well. I'm working for Nestle right now in their Quality assurance laboratory testing food to make sure it's safe for consumption. After much soul searching I left physical therapy school at Northwestern last october. I think that was the hardest decision of my life, but I had never had to endure something that made me so unhappy and jaded before in my life. I hate not finishing, but I was literally sick all the time because of school and thought it was best to call it quits before I really did harm to myself. Currently, I am trying to decide what to do with my life. I rekindled an old passion while in Chicago, and am hoping to continue with getting certified to teach Pilates in the next year or two. It was the only thing that kept me sane while in grad school, and I'm hoping I can finish my training in the near future. Well, I suppose that's all for my succinct "where the hell I've been lately" post. I'll go back to my tasty beer and good book while poor Adam is stuck playing Nutcracker for the 1000th time (sucker!) I danced to it enough for many years and now he'll be playing it for even longer (I'm quite evil, can you tell?) Happy Holidays and best wishes to al of you out there.
