I'm 'moving' to Maine on Monday for the summer--living with Joe and his (and my) friend Bill. It should be a lot of fun and also an experiment in living with roommates/Joe.
I have a job interview on Tuesday, which I was really excited about when I got it like a month ago and am getting super excited again! I won't say too much now but it's with an organization working to get universal health care in Maine. They're looking forward to meeting me, and probably wondering why a NewJersian wants to work to better Maine...
Apparently, another Joe/my's friend up there is having a baby on Tuesday as well! So it'll be a super exciting day, yo! There is a risk, as she has previously lost twins, so they're doing a planned C-section.
Now I'm looking at what to do after that, looking at an environmental job for the fall... They are looking for college grads so it won't be a complete waste of degree. Besides, what am I going to do with philosophy? I like the idea of having this and that and tons of experiences, not 'stuck' in one thing. I'm perhaps jumping the gun when I worry that I'll like the summer thing (that IDK if I'll be doing yet) so much and want to stay up there. My dad's already missing me, so don't think that'd work out.
Meanwhile, I'm working on painting my room-so far it looks really nice but it takes so much time!
And I have to pack...
