Freezer Burn
We have been waiting for snowfall and this is what we get? A light dusting? Pfft! I worked late tonight and as I was brushing the snow off my car I brushed the wrong direction and sent snow blowing down my jacket and inside my shirt. It was so cold it tickled and made me laugh. Wowzers!!!
Jessie and Nicholas are coming over tonight to play cards. Should be fun! I'm looking forward to a lil' gin -n- tonic action. Norm and I have been gin snobs lately. So far our favorite is Hendricks. Or maybe Bombay Sapphire. Both are pretty good! Gin is one of those things where it's definitely worth spending a little extra.
I have decided that just because it's winter doesn't mean my dresses have to hang in the closet all sad and lonely for 6 months. I have invested in a crapload of tights this year and I have been putting them to good use! But what a pain in the ass to have to put them on all the time! Lol, whenever I wear a dress and tights to work I purposely lay low on the liquids so I don't have to pee too much throughout the day. Cuz then that means I have to spend 5 minutes after peeing putting my tights back on and adjusting my dress, etc. Looking this good isn't easy! :)
So Norm is back at it with school. He has a couple night classes this semester, and Thursdays are kind of a bummer. He leaves at 7:30 in the morning and doesn't get home until about 10:00 at night! So tomorrow I am planning to bring the boys bowling. Should be fun! And then Holt has school, of course.
