Charlie and Roses
On Monday I told Charlie that we were going to Roses this weekend. That we'd go and see Beverly and baby Quin, Jacob and Benjamin, baby Liam, Lane and Jasper. All the littles we hang out with when up in the Albany area.
Since then Charlie has been very excited to go see "all the people!"
Tuesday morning as Seo was leaving for errands: "Seo! We are going to Woses! I will pack my backpack with toys! I will take them in the car!:
Wednesday my mother visited for archery practice: "Nahmi, are you coming with us to Woses?"
"No, Charlie I'm not going with you, but I'll be there when you are!"
"Yah, I will go in the car to Roses!"
Thursday as I go upstairs to pack the last little things since he is awake from nap: "Mommy, is it time to go in the car?"
"No, honey-bear. We go in the car tomorrow, when daddy gets home from work."
"No! I want to go in the car now!!! I want to see all the people."
Something tells me he remembers Roses and is a little excited by it. Today I made chocolate chip cookies for the weekend. Of course the kids got the extras. They simply couldn't fit in the tupperware, don'tch know!
Charlie is sitting eating his and stops on his second one and says "Mommy, I want to take this in the car!"
"Sweetie, Mommy has cookies for you for tomorrow for the car. You can eat this one now."
"Otay."
He proceeds to eat the cookie. But points to him for future thoughts there. He wanted a cookie in the car and thought to save it.
