My daily dose of FUCK!

You know, I previously expressed the paranoid supposition that Israel were specifically targeting relief efforts with their weapons as a means of worsening the horrific humanitarian conditions in Gaza because they want to commit a sort of passive genocide against the Palestinian people (think about it for a second -- can you think of any other way that the rocket attacks could be permanently stopped?), but now I'm convinced that what I said only halfway seriously as an expression of rage is true.

Israel strike hits UN building

The building they hit? Relief agency. Which had five fully loaded trucks. They were also sheltering a lot of people.

They knew what that building was, and they knew what was in it. The UN has been taking care to provide them GPS coordinates of all of their buildings. Of course, they "claim" that militants fired on them and then ran inside, just like they "claimed" the last time (people at the building hit last time denied it).

Once again, the UN secretary general is condemning the attacks using OMG teh strongest languages!!111!1one You know what? Language isn't going to work. You know what will work? Trade sanctions. Israel has jack all in their country. If other countries started refusing to trade with them, even if it wasn't everyone, they would start having HUGE shortages. People would start going hungry. Let them see what it feels like for a little while.

Normally I'm against trade sanctions, because the people suffer while the government officials, who usually have the means to procure what they want, do not, and starving people do not have the time or energy to overthrow the government. They spend most of their time trying to get food, and they have no energy because they are fucking starving. However, in this case, support in Israel for the military action is still very high despite world condemnation.
