I'm getting fucking sick of Hillary Clinton

Jan 28, 2008 12:01

I have, for a very long time, called Hillary Clinton a sellout, a back stabber, a grasping woman who will do anything -- ANYTHING -- to get what she wants. I was first angered when she labelled herself as a 'progressive', because she's too much of a fucking coward to try and take the world 'liberal' back from the Republicans who coopted it and ( Read more... )

politics, righteous rage

Agreed. I'm glad that Teddy is backing Obama. I wish that Dean would come out for him, too, though, and that more "mainstream" dems would, you know?

I wouldn't call Dean mainstream, and at any rate, he's in a position where he really can't openly endorse one candidate or another.

Did you hear why Ted Kennedy went over to Obama? He got mad at the tactics the Clintons were using, told them to knock it the hell off, and when they didn't, he endorsed Obama.

Yes, and good for Ted for standing on his principles (the ones that are left, anyway).

Hooray! I'm in your corner on this.

Obama/Edwards in '08! :)

Edwards has loser cooties on him. ;)

I'd actually like to see an Obama/Richardson ticket. Obama supplies the charisma and the optimism, and Richardson supplies the enormous amounts of foreign policy experience.

Hillary will so not get all the female vote. My mother and Christine sure as hell aren't voting for her. They hate that two-faced, fake ass bitch. If she could she'd probably lie about her race too just to win. "Oh I'm half- black!"

This is what I tried to explain to Judy -- a lot of women really don't like Hillary because she's fake, and we are not so stupid that we can't see that.

A certain amount of being fake is expected, and even required in politics. Hillary Clinton goes above and beyond.

I don't like Hillary either, and everyone is surprised at that, and is accusing me of selling out my gender. I don't know that I think the crying is calculated though. Have you ever been able to force tears? I haven't. In fact, they usually come when I want them to go away, and I can't make them go away. If Hillary was more of a weeping woman, I might like her better. I consider myself a definite feminist, and I definitely fit the stereotype of the weeping woman. I wish there was a little more room in the feminist movement for women like me, who tended to be on the more emotional relational submissive side. I love feminism, and particularly love sisterhood. But rock on for Barack!!!!!

This whole 'selling out our gender' thing pisses me the hell off. What if Ann Coulter were running? Would we be obliged to support her? What about Laura Bush? These 'selling out our gender' people wouldn't be making a peep if that were the case ( ... )

I loved the Clinton times, but Hillary is not Bill, and she can never be. The only way to resurrect Bill CLinton is to abolish Presidential term limits, and that would be a disaster waiting to happen. I would be happier to vote for Pelosi, or Boxer, or Finestein, women who attained their political offices through their own endeavors. You're right. We wouldn't even know about Hillary if it were not for Bill. But hey, Barack is ahead in the delegates, finally! We might really get him, and beat the Repubs.

I've been talking about this pretty extensively in my new political blog (http://pawprintsonthepundits.blogspot.com/). I haven't put down all of my opinions about Hillary Clinton -- waiting for a slow news day for that -- but I have talked about who will win the election.
