And rightly so. The general population doesn't, and shouldn't give a crap about how concise their words are, or how often they're using 'to be'. I'm not even really sure that writers should give a crap. It's really nitpicky and hair-splitty. Nevertheless, it's the world I live in, and it's starting to bleed over. ;)
