i know it's been forever and a day (or just a really long time) since i've posted anything. it's not that i don't have anything to say or don't feel like writing it down...that's not true. actually i write it down quite often...it just tends to be in letter form to specific people and then once it's out in the mail, i've moved on.
anyway, happy second day of October to all. i'm well into grad school here at Brandeis and have firmly established over the past couple of weeks that homework is taking over my life. seriously. i don't think i've ever had this much homework ever. and not that it's extremely hard...'cause most of it isn't. it's just too time consuming. and then you add in various group meetings (which really become pointless when your group consists of more than 2 or 3 people) and classes and the occassional fun thing and there you have it, my life as i know it for at least the next few months if not the next couple of years. at least i get like a bunch of days off. thank goodness for all these Jewish holidays and getting to take advantage of them even if you aren't Jewish. that is one definite plus about my tiny Jewish grad school. well at least the undergrads are Jewish. Here at IBS (the international Business school) i'm in the minority being from America and speaking English as my native language. i actually like that part of it. and i have a bunch of wonderful classmates from all over the world so that partially makes up for living at school most of the time.
i'm still trying to find a good balance between school and everything not school though. thoughts/suggestions/people want to come visit? any or all of the above? let me know.
in the meantime, gotta go. silly group meetings, trix are for kids. ;)
