So... I was thoughly and completely rejected by the Teach for America program last week. it's ok though, i'm over it. actually i was over it about three minutes after i found out i was rejected. and then they waited an hour and actually emailed the rejection letter to me, just in case i had somehow missed it the first time around. i thought that a bit cruel, rubbing in the rejection if you will.
anyway,
since i've so moved on, this means back to the drawing board on finding other potential new careers. I'm still considering applying to a publishing company so getting paid to read would make more sense. The other teaching sites i looked into 1 - i don't meet the requirements 'cause i'm not a education major and the other one doesn't have any positions open at the current time.
alright, so i keep looking.
and then i got this email like two minutes ago...from Brandeis (which, if you have not been paying attention or i somehow forgot to mention it earlier which is far more likely) is like my dream grad school up in Boston. and they like me! evidently they got my GMAT scores and want to schedule a phone interview with me sometime in the next month. o joy! o rapture! i've got a brain!...and they want it! calloo! callay! and i'm stopping now. really i am.
