Lust - To Venus and Back
Hey you gender nectar sifting
through the gain of gold
Tripping at your door
Is that you
Alpha in her blood
And when the woman lies
You don't believe her

I know from interviews and the autobiography that this song is about Lust in marraige, and the conflict of seeing your husband both as a partner and a sex object. I can't help but think that "Gender Nectar" has something to do with the sexual emissions of each partner. Or, because its Tori, you know, its bees. Where the woman makes the "gold" (honey) and I am pretty sure that Tori was richer than Mark, and I think its a play on words about figuring out who's Alpha, and who had the most gold. Tori's pretty private, in some ways, but it seems safe to say that this issue could some up in any new marraige.

But she can't bullshit him, because, "When the Woman Lies, You don't believe her."

He's not confused by the smoke and mirrors of stardom, he knows the Tori, so few of us do, and what she got was a partner, not an adoring fan. Which I am sure is what she wanted, but there's often a big adjustment to getting what you wanted. So they're being patient with each other, until they can find the words, and voices and ways to express their feelings, their lust, their sex.
"she feels she isn't heard
and the veil tears and rages
until her voices are remembered and his secrets can be told"

I feel its about the adjustment between making love to your new husband and fucking the brains out of your new husband. Can you do both?? We all know about how she struggled to get the Mary Magdeline and the Mother Mary together in her soul. There's some sort of complex here, being worked out.
"and he waits til she can give and he waits and he waits"
