February updates
So I've been completely out of touch lately. I wish I could blame work, but the truth is, the past couple of weeks have been filled with weird health scares. Namely, I thought I was going blind in one eye. My left eye turned really red for a couple of days (all that with weird, cloudy vision...) and I took myself to the doctor. It seems like tiredness, mild infection and possible contacts overuse were at the source of it. I've rarely had contact issues before, mostly because I immediately switched to glasses when I felt it was needed. Unfortunately, my glasses are no longer suited for driving (although they're perfect for staying at home) so money was shelled out to get another pair for driving. Eye is still a bit red and not all that healed yet, but it's slowly getting better. Serves me right for ignoring cues from my body. -_-
Anyway, on a more positive note, I haz merchandise!!!

doortoriver: I couldn't be prouder of you these days, for reasons ranging from having finished a novel (and started on a second) and firmly standing up for what you believe in, even if it was damned hard. And throughout it all, you were a friend and sister to me. That makes my day anytime, yeah.
queen_lily_rose: My brave, lovely Queen: I don't see you as often as I'd like right now, but know that hearing your songbird voice on the phone or seeing your sweet face never fail to make my day.

mrsbnickel: I have a new coworker. She's awesome. She's a pretty, bubbly, curvy, blue eyed blonde, and she's won over everyone on the team with her sparkly personality, sense of humor and friendly charm. The thing is? When she first walked in, I thought she was you. I still think you should be cloned, Julie.
tcregan: I'm reading over your birthday post, and it once again strikes me how far you've managed to go, in spite of all odds. I don't know if I would have made it this far on my own. You've got courage and determination in spades, and that makes you awesome and inspiring.
yoda_1965: You are just one great guy. If I could have had a brother, I would have wished for him to be like you. Your quiet, observant nature, your strength, your advice and concern regularly make my day. You rock.
