[That menacing figure staring into the feed wearing an old looking diving suit and helmet? Don't worry about it. It's nothing to get excited about. Whoever is wearing it is now removing the helmet single handedly and a young girl, about 16 years old give or take, is staring quite anxiously into the Device. And when she speaks, it's confidently.

[Rapture.

As soon as Jack hears the message, he doesn't hesitate for even a second to respond.]

You were in Rapture too? How did you get out?

[purpleteleport]

[Oh, God. Who the hell is this? Eleanor blinks at the device a moment before speaking. NOw as not the time for her voice to waver. For all she knew, this was just another member of mothers 'Rapture Family'.]

It's a very long story. My name is Eleanor Lamb.

[She's going to be praying that this man, whoever he is, has no idea who she is. That would be wonderful. And then, just incase he was one of Mothers, she adds;]

I got out fighting.

[At least she doesn't sound like a splicer... And if she was trying to escape, then that means she probably isn't on the side that wants him dead. The name dismays him, though; he was hoping she might be somehow related to Atlas.]

No, I mean... You said there was a submarine? How did you get it? How'd you get to it?

I'm Jack, by the way.

[Nope. She's on the side of people who saw Rapture for what it was and wanted out.] There was an escape submersible in Persephone Detention facility. It was owned by someone who wanted to help my Father and I escape.

...it's a strange thing, finding someone who knows of Rapture without actually speaking to them in Rapture. Never thought I'd be having a conversation about that place on dry land.

[corpsecakes]

[He laughs, though there's not much feeling in it.] Rapture's a big place...as far as I know, anyway. I mean, I haven't even heard of the place you're talking about.

[But maybe, if he could find it whenever he got back to Rapture... Would he even remember that there was one there? And wouldn't that just mean this girl wouldn't be able to get to it if he did?]

... Who's your father?

[purpleteleport]

Oh. Oh, I don't mean father as in genetics and all. I'm a former 'little sister.' Rehabilitated, as it were, save for the sea slug and that pesky connection to my Big Daddy. [And when she says 'pesky', there's a bit of fondness in her voice. Her Big Daddy was really the only father figure she knew and had been very important for a while.]

[That catches his attention. Could she possibly be...?]

How were you, uh... "rehabilitated"?

It took years. I don't know if I remember all of it properly. The same man that turned me into a Little Sister worked with my mother to undo the Little Sister training and conditioning. [A small sigh, the creaking of metal as Eleanor sits on the edge of the fountain.] That's just the most boiled down version, I'm afraid. There's more to it. But then, this is Rapture we're talking about. There's always more to everything.
