Hmm.
I haven't been active in the Pokémon fandom for years now, but I still enjoy the games and while I've stopped watching the show, the character Kosaburou had been one of my favorites and probably will be for a long time. I remember the first eppisodes I saw him in, and he seemed pretty badass, or about as badass as you could get on Pokémon. Once I got past the English voice actor, it was love. I fell out of the fandom and stopped getting up on Saturdays in time to watch the show, so I haven't seen what's become of my favorite character. Then I happened upon this screenshot while working on a nostalgia fix:
