Drabble
Disclaimer: I do not own the Power Rangers. Just the action figures. But apparently not enough of them...
Summary: Cassie talks to Zhane who's feeling down.

punkpinkpower who requested fic a looong time ago. Better late than never?
"Hey," Cassie said, surprised to see Zhane when she walked into the workbay. "I thought you where still with the Rebels."
"I was," Zhane said, poking at the chocolate cake in front of him.
Cassie cocked her head at it. He had barely taken two bites of it from the looks of things. That wasn't like him. "Hey, did something happen?"
"No," Zhane said, clearly pouted.
Cassie sat down across the table and stared at him.
After a few minutes, Zhane sighed. "There was a girl," he told his cake.
Cassie raised an eyebrow, "What happened?"
"I don't wanna talk about it," Zhane muttered. They sat in silence for a few moments. "I just wanted to-" He shook his head, "I needed a break."
Cassie frowned. She had a feeling there was something Zhane wasn't telling her, "Ok."
"Anyway, the Rebels are fine right now, and they can call if they need me. I thought I'd come back here and spend some time with you guys," he said, clearly trying not to sound depressed. He failed.
"But Andros has been spending a lot of time with Ashley lately, and you don't want to make him feel bad for it."
Zhane looked up, blinking at her, "Yeah, something like that. Exactly that," he admitted. "I don't know if you've noticed," he said, a hint of amusement creeping into his voice. "But Andros isn't really the most social person in the galaxy."
Cassie smirked, "No! Really? But he hides it so well!"
"Doesn't he?" Zhane grinned.
"Hey, how about you come to the beach with us?"
"Sounds fun," he said. He looked down at the uneaten cake. He put down the fork and picked the cake up with his hand as he stood up.
Cassie snickered.
"What?" he asked, taking a very large bite. "Can't let it go to waste," he said around the mouthful of chocolate.
