I AM SO FREAKING BORED

Ok, so since I am sooo on the verge of going crazy and this is my only way to speak to the outside world while at work I figured I would go on some random rant like the old times before myspace began to consume my life and time. Which is funny because I never blog on it, I just use it to see current events in my friends life. And just like this account they tend to forget that I like attention back.

So, what to talk about. Oh, oh, oh, I know ok so first of all let me set this up for all of you who may or may not know. I work at a school as a Para-Educator or in lamens terms a Teachers Aid. Any who.  So as my second year working at the school I have thought more and more about my life spent as a student particularly as a grade school student. You all remember recess right? The swinging back and forth, or side to side, hanging upside down, or backwards, or even on your tummy on the swings. Sliding down or running up the slide. Hanging or twirling from the highest monkey bar or just a bar in general. Playing cat and mouse on the funky parallel bars that if you were short was a vertical challenge, but still fun.  Or even just sitting in the grass and enjoying your own or even your friend’s imagination and creativity.  If you remember these things and you are even smiling or laughing at the memories you have then you are like me and you were able to enjoy your childhood to its fullest.

Unfortunately we now live in a nasty world of conformity the world that has been destroyed by the standards that some important Sheople (a human that follows another just like a sheep), decided to start.

Recess and the messed up rules. They can’t swing to the side, on their tummies, upside down, or have a friend give a helpful push. Nope one must sit on their bottom, pump their legs back and forth to move forward and backwards. Unless it is the designated monkey bars one is not allowed to see if they can hang upside-down or how many times they can spin around the bar. A slide is only designed for sitting on and moving down toward the ground such as gravity pulls. Your imagination is safe as long as… The Nazi adults do not listen to it and try to meld it to an educational direction. Games we would once create are no longer sacred an adult now steps in and tries to organize some game giving it ADULT RULES and ADULT STRUCTURE.

We adults scream about our rights to think and speak for ourselves, why is it that we feel the need to take it away from the children who WILL one day be our future?
