I love that there are places like that (and a relatively large number of them) within St. Paul--and VERY close to downtown/the most urban areas. It's bizarre--you go down a trail (or non-trail) and all of a sudden there are no buildings; only trees and grass and deer and such.

No, I haven't done those yet. I just started caching last September and learned about the state park challenge too late to participate. Apparently they've started a new one.

Dock leaves! There's always some growing near nettles. It's nature's prank, poison and antidote together.
Sounds amazing though, to see the nettles and water and say so what, I'm going in anyway, you are a man of courage!

I'll have to see if I could find any dock leaves. The nettle fields were pretty dense and I didn't see much else around.
