i was supposed to meet the two girls for dinner after work on friday but huixian got caught up at work, her last day of work. so it was huiting & me at ministry of food. we had a good time of laughter, sharing and chitchatting over dinner. it felt really great catching up with people whom i haven't met in ages, because they don't deserve such treatment from me. i need more time to be better steward of my time. girl, i know you're reading this - way to go for the upcoming interview if youre going to give it a try, and hang on there meanwhile at your work place. it may not be ideal but seek all you can from this work experience alright! =]] and and and, huixian! i'll see you as planned! i can't wait!! when down to shaw to collect the tickets and met benson for the much raved about movie on the month: sex & the city! i love the show a lot and i wouldn't mind watching it again. "get carried away" - very much indeed. i love the fashion and the close knitness the girlfriends shared (: its probably the best show to watch together with jany but too bad time/schedule didn't permit! the purfect girlfriend show - ha, we have got to meet soon anyway ok. definitely before school starts on us again!
i can't wait to spend time with myself. i already have plans to grab a good book, sit down at a cafe and watch the world go by through the afternoon. people-watch (: when was the last time i did that alone? well, i'm really looking forward. but first, i must get that book from Joy. long waiting list! i tell myself friday will come really soon. but i forsee myself complaining about boredom in weeks to come.
work is ------ these weeks. the new girl is here and supervisor's back tomorrow. i can't wait to do more things. i've been feeling too idle for too long. boss, new girl angela, sofie and i had lunch together today. japanese food again. what a weird combination but it was a mix feeling of awkardness+nice to sit in for some adult-lunch once in awhile. besides i can't deny i'm catching up with age too. it's never too early to start, ha!
