Our Poem

Matt and Kris are the new couple in town
We're about to show you how it will go down
Matt thinks I'm crazy
Because my favorite flower is a daisy
Kristen says I am full of it
I'm having troubles with my line so ill make it up in a bit
You dyed your hair brown but you still act blond
He still likes me and is still very fond
On the other hand Matt has no hair
So short now that I don't even care
We are far way from each other because we are in school
The distance is so great it is not even cool
I wish I could see him to show him how much I care
I only get to see her so much, it's not even fair
Thursday is the day we both wait for
Because seeing each other is what we really adore
He seems to keep me out of trouble
Just to keep her in line I have to work double
No matter how hard I try she still finds a way
To be an angel with horns every single day
She says the horns are to keep the halo straight
She is really an angel in the skies making my life great
I never knew how much a guy could eat
One day I am determined to get him beat
He holds my ice cream bowl and his hands get so cold
I guess that means he will never grow mold
Matt thinks I'm goofy and we know it's for real
Because every single compromise is one crazy deal
We both wear our smiles so big and so bright
Don't mess with us; we're sure to start a fight.
The year 2007 has been a blessing in disguise
Hiding 2006 and all of its lies
It's hard to imagine this year could get any better
But if she wants to try I'm definitely going to let her
I want to try to make his everyday great
So I will do what I can and see if he takes the bait
I'm also going to try to do what I can
I'm going to step up to the challenge like a real man
Our worlds have collided; we are on a whole new plane
We'll let our emotions run free as we fall like rain
