New York, New York
Okay, so I've had that song stuck in my head since Sunday, but I don't mind too much because I sort of feel like the "character" in the song.
Anyway, I'm here in East Meadow finally! I got in on Sunday and had the compounding exam Tuesday and Wednesday. I won't find out for another 8 weeks, but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I passed. Especially since if I don't pass, I can't take it again until January and I can't fail in January. I'm trying not to think about it too much because there's nothing I can do about it anyway.
Not much to say other than that, really. I took Scout (Jen's dog) for a walk this afternoon and was reminded of how small and space-efficient everything is in New York. Tomorrow I have to go get a physical done and fill out paperwork at NYP, and on Monday (after I get my TB test read) I'm going out to Stony Brook with Jen (and Scout!). Then I just have 2 weeks until I move into my new apartment, and 2.5 weeks till I start working!
