Phase change
It's been a busy month with summer school. That wraps up next week though. The better half is being wooed by a big financial institution. She may jump ship. But that whole thing is still up in the air. I'm starting a new job in about a week and a half which will mean no more teaching. I haven't been a full time working stiff in almost exactly 1/2 decade.
I'll miss the lazy days with the dog and the price is right. Lazy days don't pay too well, unfortunately. Instead, I 'll be venturing into the world of criminal law (of a sort). I found criminal law quite interesting but always was turned off by the consequences involved and the nature of some of the offenses.
Apparently a Star Trek convention will be in town this weekend. Newsflash: It is WAY TOO HOT to be dressing up in ridiculous costumes and bopping along the Riverwalk. Still interested? The cost is $25 for a 3 day pass.
