Busy, busy, busy, busy. That pretty much sums up my life at the moment. I go to school, I go to work, I study. Then I repeat. Basically, I don't have a social life. While I enjoy being busy and having a routine, I'd like to be able to relax and have a drink with friends every once-in-a-while, you know?
I got a new job at City Pet Club, which is a doggy daycare/boarding facility. It's great. I play with dogs all day... what could be better? I mean, cleaning up poop isn't the greatest thing, but I still look forward to going to work. There are some freaking cute dogs there, too. My favorites are probably Maggie & Remy, two goldendoodles. I really want a goldendoodle, and they are the perfect type (you know some are cuter than others). Other favorites are Dutchess & Dapple, two miniature Dachshunds. I know I'm biased to wiener dogs because of my Zac and Zoe in Wales... haha. Anyway, remind me to never name my dogs Lucy, Charlie, or Sadie. They are by far the most common names. I seriously have 5 labs named Charlie... makes learning names quite confusing.
In addition to City Pet Club, I still babysit for two families (and even a 3rd new one that I babysat all of last weekend). I make a lot more money babysitting than at CPC, which is why I'm still doing it. I don't have to pay rent so I'm trying to saving up. I'd like to go on a vacation sometime soon. A trip to the Northwest is in order, as I have a lot of friends in Portland & Seattle, along with my brother and his family in Walla Walla. I still have to pay my phone bill, car insurance, and gas money, which still takes a big chunk out of my paycheck! It might take me a while to save up enough money...
School is going well, for a change. I actually like some of my classes. Weird. I usually detest school, but I'm doing well this semester. I get up on time, get to school on time, and get my homework done in a somewhat timely manner. Proud.
In other news: I'm going to have a niece! :) My brother Mike and his wife, Erica, are having another baby in February. They already have two boys, so it's exciting to have a girl! I can't wait.
