I NEED TO VENT

This morning I woke up at 6am, to a really high pitched shriek downstairs.
I couldn't fall back asleep; I was wide awake.
A moment later, I heard it again. "eew!"

One of my housemates was downstairs and was squealing "ew" every 2 minutes. She ended every "ew" with a gasp like she was crying, but I could tell she wasn't. She sounded so serious, I got freaked out, wondering if there was like a dead animal or even worse, a person downstairs in our apt! I didn't want to go downstairs cuz I was so freaked out. She came upstairs and I think she washed her hands, and went back down.

Then I heard soft talking, so I put my ear to my slightly open door to listen. I thought it was like someone calming her down or something. The voice then dropped to the softest whisper and I couldn't make out anything.
Then some MORE "ew"s, and this was when I decided that if it's something serious, I'll eventually know about it anyway, so I'll go down since now since I'm wide awake.

I just called her name from the top of the stairs. "Are you okay?"

Well
It turned out there was ONE maggot in her knit blanket thing. ONE maggot...
And there was no one in the apt. She was whispering to herself.
All that shrieking was SO uncalled for. She was doing it for a good half an hour, as if there was a dead human in the apt or something. I was like whatever, and went back to sleep and woke up an hour later reeeaaaally tired.
When I got back from my 9am class, I saw a note scribbled on the whiteboard on the apt door:
something like, "we need to clean this apt...it's GROSS...I found a maggot.." blah blah blah
and "I'll be back around 7...and I ain't cleaning it by myself"
Was I glad I'd be at work so I wouldn't have to deal with her! and clean. ha!
How she overreacted just put me in a crappy mood for a while, probably because I got crappy sleep because of it.
seriously...REALLY high pitched "eew" ending in a gasp. Every 2 minutes...just imagine it...freaked me out like crazy
Is it time to move out????
