(no subject)
Hey guys! It's my first day at my new job! Not too much is going on at the moment, so I thought I'd let you know about all the fascinating things that have been going on. Well, they're pretty fascinating in my not so fascinating life.
We finally moved in! Yay! It was such hard work; we starting moving boxes Thursday afternoon and finished up Friday night. Then we unloaded boxes that we had down in storage on Sunday. I hurt so badly by Friday night... more like Friday mid-morning. You know, you really don't realize how much crap you have until you move - Sunday was depressing in that way. I just wanted to get rid of everything in that truck, except the books of course. It's going to take a lot of work getting settled in, but it will be so nice once we finish unpacking!!
I found out some terrible news when I got to work this morning. I need to get a rabies shot (I also need to get a decal and a physical)!!! You guys know how scared of needles I am!! Oh man, I always freak out around them. This is going to be bad. But on the bright side, I'm going to get a film badge to make sure I don't get too much radiation when taking x-rays!! Hehe, I'm so excited, my dad has one of those! Yep, this may be a cool job! What am I talking about-I get a film badge! This is a very cool job! Oh, you know what I saw today at work? I saw a horse running on a huge treadmill!! It was awesome!
