Summer 2013
Huzzah! It is officially summer 2013! This means....well it means...I have completed my first year of pharmacy school! Oh come on! It is a big accomplishment. I have went from mediocre undergraduate who had to take Organic Chemistry THREE times to get a B-....to a bonafide pharmacist in training. And goddamnit I ended up with a 3.28 GPA (ironically, which is the same as my undergraduate GPA) for the semester.
As a side note, I have heard the 2nd year of pharmacy school makes you want to blow your brains out. Luckily, I have made a couple of friends who shall drag me through the muddy waters, so to speak. And well, at the end of the day, I have my lovely girlfriend of 28 months to hug me at the end of the night.
What sanity is there left to lose anyway?
THE GOOD NEWS IS...I get this summer, next summer....off. I guess the summer before 4th year I have to actually do stuff. Damn.
So here are the highlights of the last year of my life:
1. Top Shelf! (Best pharmacy academic group ever)
2. No C's (even though Ive been told C's make PharmD's)
3. Attended like...3-4 social events
4. Actually hung out with people more than "periodically" throughout the semester
5. Studied more than one day in advanced for several tests
6. Got MAX CAPE on Runescape (yeah, I still play that game: what of it?)
7. Finally as of January...worked out getting my pharmacy internship with Publix
7a......which was cut down to 5 hrs a week in the summer (FUCKKKKKK)
8. Got a summer internship (10 hrs a week) with an Industrial pharmacy
Yah....I cant think of much else. I actually quit Runescape for like 2 months but I am back on it again.
Maybe I will periodically update this, this summer. Who knows? Maybe It wont be updated for another 2 years!
