slowing down?
Nope. Even with 2 shows closed I'm still busy. :) Imaginary Invalid rehearsals are going wonderfully and I just got another little tech gig this weekend as a last minute board op for a kid's show.
Met with the folk creating Truth About Raya today. Kick ass people. I was bummed that I couldn't be at the production meeting due to my rehearsal, but I feel like things are pretty well under control. Props are almost all aquired, save a few new ones that have been added. A small table needs to be built and the underside of the large table fixed, both of which should be pretty easy to do. The biggest problem is figuring out how to hang our blacks if we *don't* perform in the round. The theatre doesn't have a real grid just some poles acoss parts of the ceiling which do not lend themselves for our trapezoidal playing space. I'll know more after I get the meeting notes.
My brain is fried from math. Having to figure out dimensions and seating configurations and how many blacks we need.
Math was never my strong suit. It makes my brain go squishy.
