Today was the school's annual blood drive! At the risk of sounding crazier than most people already think I am, I love giving blood. Not only do I love the fact that could help save a life, but I'm fascinated with the whole process. I asked the nurse alot of questions, and it turns out she's alot like me. In high school, she wanted to be a doctor (as do I). At that time, she was interested in being a surgeon. The only problem was, she didn't know what type of surgeon she wanted to be. The entire human anatomy and how it worked interested her as a whole. Actually, it sounds exactly like me. She was even into the same books and music I was. Crazy. So, I had so much fun asking questions about procedures, how some of the machines they were using worked, and some other stuff.
On another note, it's Thanksgiving break! A time when people get together and stuff their faces full of turkey until they resemble Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. But hey, who doesn't love food? Fall is such a wonderful time of year.
