Long time, no write

I just realized I haven't posted in about 4 months. Wow. My only excuse was last semester was the hardest semester I've ever had! Now for a much needed update on my life, since I know everyone cares :)

Highlights of the past 4 months:
*I saw Big & Rich in concert and it was AWESOME! They're a really fun group to see live!
*Amy Smith's wedding
*I'm going on the Leadership Institute Trip!!!
*I'm directing a One Act in the spring!
*I'm co-director and co-producer for The Vagina Monologues!

School:
School's been pretty good. I amazingly made it out with all A's this semester! Even in science! I'm extremely excited about this fact! I've also finally figured out what I want to do with my life. Hooray! I'm dropiing my second major in Advertising and Marketing. I only had it because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a job with just an art major. Since I only need 3 more classes for my art major and I can't take these till spring semester senior year anyways, I'm going to get as many psychology credits as I possibly can. I'm planning on going to the University of Louisville for my Masters (and hopefully PhD) in Couseling Psychology-with an emphasis in Art Therapy. I'm really excited and I can't wait! Clubs are going well. CRC's getting ready for STUNT. Woohoo! Equestrian's pretty much done. Haunted Barn didn't go so well this year, but we made enough to cover our expenses which was good. Washboard's been pretty stressful. I've had attendance problems, which was really annoying when it's a small group anyways. I was one of 12 chosen to go on the summer leadership trip and I'm super excited! We're going to Portland in July for free! (The trustees pay for it)It has an art emphasis this year too!

Theatre:
Definitely going well! Treasure Island was sooooo much fun! It's definitely one of my top favorite shows we've done. Dr. Lewis directed the next show (Desdemona). It was okay, but not one of my favorites. I ran lights and did photography and poster design for it! It was fun to learn something new, and I had fun running lights! I'm directing a One Act this spring and I can't wait!!!!! I've chosen Durang's 'For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls' It's a parody of The Glass Menagerie and it's so funny! I'm also Co-Director and Co-Producer for the Vagina Monologues this year. It was a honor to be chosen and I'm really excited! We're also getting ready to go to SETC in March and that's going to be fun as well! YAY!

Horses:
Well, I'm back on the Equestrian Team... just western though. We have 4 shows and they're all in January! I'm super excited because I only need two more points to qualify for Regionals!! It'll be fun to show again! Color's doing really well. She's been mare-ish again and it's really frustrating. I'm thinking of sending her back to Conyers and pasture board her somewhere where she can just run. I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to spend with her and if I do go to Kentucky I'd hate to move her AGAIN with me. I'm thinking about pretty much retiring her and just going on trails whenever. It's such a hard decision, but I really miss riding a horse that behaves.

Whew- I'm tired of writing for now!

To be continued :)
