Big Ideas
I had a great weekend! On Friday, Color and I headed over to Four Seasons for our lesson with Kimberly. It was awesome (as usual) and I learned a lot of new stuff and how to handle Color better. We spent an hour at the walk, and Kimberly talked for that whole hour. Basically, I use my hands too much, so what was her solution? Put Color in a snaffle and ride without reins. I had to keep her on a 20 meter circle at a slow walk and we had to halt every so often. Color improved in just an hour and started lowering her head and rounding her back. I was so proud! That's all I'm allowed to do for the next month. If I can steer and control her speed by our next lesson, I'll be able to trot.
Saturday was my birthday party! Lots of my Wesleyan friends came and Erin came as well. We swam until it rained and then we played darts and DDR, while eating pizza. It was quite fun and so relaxing and it was good to spend time with everyone. Erin spent the night and we watched 'Red Eye' and 'White Noise' which were both okay. We ate lots of candy and stayed up late talking. We haven't done that since, I don't know Christmas? My birthday cake was chocolate with chocolate icing and cherries on top! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Sunday was relaxing as well! I slept late, and then Erin had to get up and go to her church. Then we went to the fish camp. I layed out on the deck and read, while my mom cleaned inside some more and my dad mowed the grass. It's so pretty! I was going to swim, but I ended up not going. Then I talked to dani for a little while which made me oh so happy! I miss her lots! I came back to Macon on monday afternoon, because I had to work at Amstar at 6pm. That's it for now!
