Warning:
This is an angry and bitter post so if you are not up to it, over the show or are OK with Michaels death, maybe you should stop reading now. I need to get it out of my system in order to find my inner positive self again that I am sure is still there somewhere deep down.

Nice family photos! Sand, sun, cheesy matching outfits...we could ( Read more... )

I'm really glad you posted this. I have been cooling off and I'm not going to let myself care anymore because it's just so ludicrous. It really isn't worth it. They clearly don't care about the fans so I'm trying not to waste my time thinking about them and their bullshit. ITA about Wentworth and Sarah being bigger than the show. They are the face of it, the heart. I honestly believe PB wouldn't have been as successful as it was if it wasn't for this charming relationship they created. It's as if the writers resent them for that and it feels like they are punishing us. It was not the satisfying ending we were promised and I will never change my mind on that.

What really makes me angry is knowing that Michael never got to see his son. That he and Sara only had a few months together. They couldn't at least have moved along the timeline a little? I guess they just enjoy twisting the knife in. Oh but they will gladly try and milk us for more money with these extra episodes and have us pay to see his demise. They should be ashamed. But apparently these episodes are "for the fans" so we should feel priviledged. Oh they are kind masters aren't they? I'm also really confused as to why WM would call the ending happy and satisfying when he was in China. Fair enough if that was the kind of ending he wanted but come on, does a man dying and leaving behind a wife and a child he never got to know sound happy? I guess what annoyed me the most was how before the man leaked the ending, every single spoiler was pointing towards a real happy ending, and that was pulled out from under us so fast my head is still spinning.

Oh and no way in hell are Michael's crimes worse than Kellerman's or T-Bag's or even Mahone's. If anyone deserved to for their sins, it was anyone of those 3. But even so, I think it's so lazy to go for the death = redemption route. Since when was redemption that easy?

Jeez I guess I wasn't as okay as I thought.

Hi Katie,
I knew at least YOU would comment and thanks for the PM's when I felt so sad. It meant a lot.

Like you I want to leave it all behind and maybe I will after the last episodes but it is so hard because of the investment in the character(s) so I will take it one step at the time at this point.

I have that feeling ever since S3 and I can not shake it. It is very evident in all the DVD comments. Paul S was always raving about them and so were some of the other actors but when he left all the M/ S scenes were kind of ignored and talked over by the writers. Also in most of the interviews Went is hardly mentioned. I could be wrong but it is a nagging feeling I had for a long time now.

Went's attitude in China also confused me. Maybe he panicked because he knew the Chinese fans love him so much but I feel he is in an almost impossible situation and if he is onboard with this and the fans are not happy, he might be feeling bad.
I wish he would speak out about this because I never got the Michael-must-die-vibe from him but maybe I am wrong.

Yeah and until a couple of days before I was still in fake-out mode so I feel so stupid now.
