So I’ve been in Austin for 2 weeks now and its really growing on me. Although at first I have to admit I was very nervous to be alone in the city, I’m starting to love my new found independence. I am an adult, YES! Work is great and lots of fun, its almost like a game or role playing, and I love it. It’s going to be hard to go back to the school routine but I don’t even want to think of that now. Anyway, this weekend was lots of fun because I got to see soo many friends. Richard came down from Dallas and exploring the city with him was lots of fun. we went down to san Marcos to visit Vanessa, Eric and Martine. Tovy showed up by surprise and it became one big reunion. Vanessa and eric were great host and they throw a lovely party with a theme that Richard and I totally misunderstood, it was all things future or something, so we dress up like corporate America COEs while everyone else was wearing very intergalactic/ matrix costumes, oh well it was embarrassing but funny because we looked retarded. Too bad I didn’t last the whole night. Anyway, I hope everyone is good and wish you all a happy week. gotta get back to work.
