SARAH IS GOING ON VACATION WITH ME!!!!! I am so incredibly excited!!
I mentioned something in talking about not being able to take a friend on vacation this year, not complaining or anything, and my parents were like, "since when did we say you couldn't take a friend??" THey never told me i could so i assumed they didn't want me to since we were visiting my aunt and uncle for a couple days. so i got mad thinking i could have had a friend on vacation...then i called sarah and asked her if by any chance she wanted to go and she said yes!!! we're leaving in less than a week, so nothing like short notice, lol! I'm really excited now...I love my parents and everything, but 11 days with them in such close quarters, i'm not sure how well i'd do...!
My Dad and I went bike shopping for my birthday present b/c the bike i use has gone from jody to teri to me therefore it is over 10 years old! The breaks are very squeeky and don't work very well and the gears like to jump on their own. I found one I liked, which was exciting and its a lot nicer than the one I have now! but...its a girls bike...i was too little for the adult bikes...how sad is that?? i could barely get on the adult ones.
Tomorrow is my last day of work. this week has been challenging w/40 kids who don't listen and leaders who can't control them and on top of that EXTREME heat. Even with challenging kids its not like i dread going to work, i just come home exhausted. I have LOVED work this summer, its been so amazing. God has blessed me incredibly by this job, yay God! It seems like i should be excited to stop work, but I'm sad, I think I'll miss it, its been so awesome...
i haven't had any long updates recently, so hope this wasn't overkill! Lori is ready for bed, good night!
