It snowed!
I woke at about quarter to five. Opened one of my big windows a bit and then read for a couple of hours. I fell asleep again just before seven and didn't wake up until 09:20. In that time it snowed and we have a thick layer of white over everything.
This may not seem like a event to many, but I have lived here for seventeen years and I have only seen the snow stick around like this once or twice before. To give you an example, last February when most of England was hit by severe snow which closed down placed, we had mild weather with lots of sunshine.
