i know what i want to do
goal i hope to acheive
in january attneed school part time,
august fulltime student (finacial aid)
degree( special education and business)
gradaute by 2010
either through grants or by my own money ( most likely grants) purchase (or have built) a large house on a large property. (i hope to have a lot of property. in one local explation later)
open my own group home, Hopefully a bunch more later
after a number(10-20) of succesfulll group homes are up and running, i inttend to open up a school/day program.
i want to improve the qaulity of life for the developmentally disabbled. in a place where they are recgonized as people with needs and wants. Get the care they need with support of family.
it will be a place where parents will feel safe leaving there kids.
employeess will go through random drugtests. alcholl tests. no smoking, in the houses. or around the people.
each room will have a camera in it for the safety of the person. and the aids. ??????(that is a question i am not for sure about privacy laws and what not) it can be decided by gaurdians " would you or do you want a camera in your childs room and bathroom. at no extra charge." however i think all the common rooms can be monitored. ?????/
