freshers week
freshers week ends tomorrow. It's been pretty epic so far- although tonight is the ball, which promises to be awesome. I'm going alone, and I challenge myself to get phone numbers from at least 2 people by the end of the night (not guys necessarily, just friends.)
I get to go book shopping tomorrow, and then lectures start monday. At the same time, I'm not looking forward to having loads of work to do, but also it will be fun to have a structured, academic life again- the years always seem to fly by for me, once I'm settled into a busy routine. AngelBeavor, OhHai and TheTraumatiser all left today for university, and I miss them already in a way:P but I know they'll be having an awesome time- see you guys at christmas! I feel a little sad because I know that in a way, this is the end- we'll all see each other again, but the ties that kept us as a group are now irrevocably lost, and we'll never be as close as we were. But in a sense, that's already happened in the last fortnight or so.
Oh, and my voice has now officially been gone for 5 days... so I might be attractive in my black dress, but that'll vanish as soon as I open my mouth and speak- I've become used to introducing myself by croaking 'Hello, I'm Magda, I'm studying Law and I DO NOT usually sound like this.'
