30 Day Song Challenge - Day 7 & 8
Lol, I missed day 7. I fail. But sometimes homework has to take priority over LiveJournal.
Day 01- A song that makes you happy
Bad Romance - Glee Cast. Because Kurt is fabulous. ♥
Day 02- A song that helps you clear your head
Butterfly - Rajaton. This song always makes me feel so calm and at peace with everything. :)
Day 03- A song that makes you laugh
Gaston - Beauty and the Beast. Why yes, I am a Disney geek. :)
Day 04- A song that reminds you of something sad
Ave Maria. My grandmother passed away last December from cancer. When she was in the hospital, she asked my mother, who used to sing professionally, to sing Ave Maria at her funeral. Then, merely weeks later, I was performing at a choir concert. There are four choirs in the association, so I got to listen to the other three choirs sing during the concert. Oran, the oldest choir, sang Ave Maria (as shown in the video I chose). I was in tears the whole time.
Day 05- A song that has a new meaning to you every time you hear it
Winter Song - Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson. I always forget about and then rediscover this song. And every time I rediscover it, it relates to my life in a new way. I just adore it. ♥
Day 06- A song you can always relate to
Don't Due Sadness/Blue Wind - Spring Awakening. Because the song itself is sad, but Mortiz is also saying "Fuck this, I don't do sadness!"
Day 07- A song that is your guilty pleasure
Like A G6 - Far East Movement. I HATE THIS SONG BUT I LOVE IT.
Day 08- A song you liked when you were younger
Tarzan and Jane - ToyBox. This used to be my favorite song. Trufax.
Day 09- A song that makes you want to dance
Day 10- A song that makes you cry
Day 11- A song that reminds you of summer
Day 12- A song that reminds you of your best friend
Day 13- A song you sing to in the shower
Day 14- A song you like hearing live
Day 15- A song people wouldn’t expect you to like
