This will be the last post for a while, since I'l be out of town. Relatives of do~o~o~om.

Title: “Happy Family”

Yuzu hummed to herself as she did her daily shopping, carrying her large bag of produce. She swung by the Urahara Shouten because Jinta had been bragging about fresh fruit he had gotten in.
Jinta hovered over the entire time, as she sorted through the selection of quinces, citrons, and strawberries. Urahara came over to watch over, flapping his fan gently, black cat over his shoulder.
Yuzu strolled home with her purchases and started to prepare the fruit. After a while her mother came home, put on a pink frilly apron, and started heating a pot on the stove.
Karin came home, still keeping a soccer ball in the air. “No soccer in the house!” insisted Ryuuken, gesturing with a ladle. Karin snorted, but the soccer ball stayed in hand.
Ichigo came in with his usual short grunt of greeting. Uryuu followed, walking very quickly and looking around as little as possible.
Isshin came in from the clinic and got in the way in the kitchen. Yuzu made him carry bowls to the table, but he spent most of the time running between tasks as quickly as he could assign them so he could cop-a-feel under the pink frilly apron. Ryuuken squirmed and stamped on Isshin’s feet as he hovered over the pot.
Yuzu finally sent Isshin up to get everyone for dinner. There were the usual number of screams and drop kicks of lo~o~o~ve before Karin, Ichigo, and Uryuu came downstairs. Isshin came back in through the front door a minute later, having been kicked out another window. “Daddy’s alright!”
Karin spooned food onto her plate and Isshin announced in his booming voice that fruit was good for growing boys and shoved strawberries into Uryuu’s mouth. Ichigo sensed a Hollow and Ryuuken had to glare him into his seat to keep him from running off after it in the middle of dinner. And Yuzu thought: And thank you for Otousan and Ryuuken-kaasan and Oniisan and Uryuu-niisan and Karin-chan.
