“But, Mama, it will be raining by then.”
“Then you shouldn’t be going outside today at all, anyway. You’ll get caught out in the rain and get sick.”
“I will not!”
“But you haven’t finished your homework, so it doesn’t really matter anyway, now does it?”
Hotaru pouted and glared at her calculator.
“If you finish all your homework this week, I think I recall Haruka-papa saying she might take you to the zoo on Sunday. And maybe Chibiusa could come if her mama lets her.”
Hotaru’s eyes lit up. “Really?!”
“Really.”
Hotaru rolled up her sleeves and picked up her pencil. Time to get cracking.
