dumb ass!
so i totally went to work this morning at 7:45 am, on my freaking day off. i'm so retarted. i practically make my own schedule for christ sake.
asheville was marvelous. i love mike gaffney. love love love him. he is so amazing and inspiring. plus he wrote two new songs for me! i love having a songwriter write me songs to sing. that's so kick ass. the owner of the bar really liked me so he's booking me again in march.
we stayed at these amazing cottages in flat rock and i think from now on when i make a trip to the mountains i will be staying in that little town. it's so cute and quaint. the place we stayed had rocking chairs on the front porch, a full kitchen, artwork of ducks (oh, the south...) and the most gigantic bed i've ever seen in my life. like four of us could have slept comfortably in this thing. they do have rooms with more than one bed of course, but i mean, where's the fun in that?....
okay since i'm awake and i already had coffee at work so there's no chance in going back to sleep, i guess i'll just watch some sports night on DVD.
or go wake brooke up by jumping up and down on the bed. one or the other. maybe i can convince her to call in sick and we can start downing some of the beer i brought back. (i heart you, pyramid apricot ale. please don't ever go out of business....)
