ms. finicky's cat adventure volume one...
so has anyone else seen these cat videos that are on the market? there are videos or dvds, that provide endless amounts of entertainment, including squirrels eating, gerbals frolicking, and butterly's flitting about all for your kitty. they basically say that now your cat doesn't have to be home alone and on the box there's all these rave reviews from vets and pet owners. i got real stoned last night when my mom went to bed and me and the kitties (desi and george bailey) watched this thing and let me tell you, it was highly entertaining...
and oh yes i do now how sad that little paragraph makes me sound. but it was hilarious. the cats totally respond to what's on the screen and they sat there on the couch with me and watched it, intently for about 45 minutes. i'm so buying one for luna.
i'm visiting my mom and since we live way out in the country there's not much else to do. i'm currently doing laundry for free and watching dead poets society, (aka my favorite movie of all fucking time.) al's out of town so me and mom have been being loud, drinking his scotch and smoking cigarettes in the house (gasp!) so yeah that's pretty awesome.
i'm going to greensboro tomorrow morning. i was gonna party there on saturday too, but since i'm one of the few ass holes who's actually driving around this weekend and paying a gozillion dollars a gallon, i had to conserve a day. plus, as terrible as this sounds, mom will more than likely give me gas money if i spend more time in glendon, so... here i am. =)
al comes back from virginia this afternoon and i get to meet his friend ed. apparently ed is the guy who set mom and al up on their first date. his famous quote is "hey man, what about kathy vincent? she's pretty cute... aw man... i dunno though... she *does* have a kid...." so he's excited he gets to meet said "kid"
