grrrr....
pediatric audiology or whatever it's called is down the hall from my office and if this little fucking brat does not stop screaming, i think i'm going to lose my mind. holy christ. all children should be mute. this is psycho. SHUT UP TINY ONE!!! it's not even like a real cry, it's like that annoying moan thing that kids do because they want attention it's like that "uuuuhhhahhhhghhuuuuuughhhh" noise in monotone that goes on forever... every time i think i'm close to actually getting away from the whole "laura hates children" thing, some little freak annoys me in that way and i thank goddess that i'm not extremely maternal with a ticking clock.
also, i walked to work in the pouring monsoon rain today. which, i'm used to walking in rain, just not wading in it. i like how it started to pour exactly when i stepped off my front porch at 7:30 am. what a wonderful way to start my day. so i was sopping wet until about 11 am this morning. and it was cold in my office. any other day it would be hotter than the fifth ring of hell in here. seriously, we have some kind of thermostat problem and me and boss lady keep fans on. but today? ice fucking cold.
this piss poor mood could be a direct result of not having a single cigarette break all damn day. hmmmm, yes. that could be it.
as a side note, i'm taking thursday off because i have scheduled 3 different non-MUSC interviews and i would love a break from work to try to get a better job than the super crappy one i have now. =)
that's enough complaining for now.... it sufficiantly killed about ten minutes and made me feel better. thank you, lj. you always come through. =)
