Yes, yes, I know I should be packing
I just wanted to point out how incredibly inconsiderate my (now former bosses) at Amazing Glaze have been. Yesterday, as I was getting ready to walk out the door to work, I got a call. Not from my boss, from one of the girls who works at the icecream shop. She'd said that my boss had called to let me know we weren't going to open 'cause of thhe weather. o_O It was raining. WTF? Woman couldn't even call me herself. Then today, her husband called (and woke me up) at 8:30. he said "we're gonna be doing some heavy moving in the attic so we're not gonna open today." And there's a reason why I can't come help out? You guys had me lugging heavy tables around last week and using a 2-handed power sander, you know I'm not frail. (No, I know it's 'cause they didn't want to pay me - I'm just saying.) Anyway... so today was s'posed to be my last day there. At least Mark's arranged to have my last check ready this afternoon, so I won/t have to worry about having to arrange to get it on the way out of town.
I suppose I should be glad that I got to sleep later and that I'll have more time to pack. Joy.
