Jaejoong rolled his eyes as he watched Junsu staring blankly at the TV in front of them; the younger clearly was not following the live soccer match which was currently being aired. Jaejoong sighed. Here he was, being oh so nice to sacrifice his Saturday night only to keep Junsu company because Yoochun couldn’t be here, and his cousin was completely ignoring him! A loud cheer broke off from the TV when a goal was scored and yet Junsu hardly even blinked; obviously being drifted into his own thought as his fingers fiddled absent-mindedly with his favorite dolphin plushie.
Jaejoong let out a loud sigh as he shook his head.
“Junsu-yah!” He poked the younger’s cheek. “Hello, anybody home?”
“Huh?” his cousin looked confusedly at him.
“Snap out of it loverboy, you’re thinking about your boyfriend these whole time and yet demanded me to be here with you when I could totally get wasted tonight!” Jaejoong exclaimed; his lips forming a lopsided grin as Junsu blushed at the mention of his boyfriend.
“That’s it, I’m leaving,” he announced as he stood up, hands already reaching for his jacket.
“Hyung~~” Junsu whined. “I don’t like to be alone, and Yoochun has an important dinner tonight so he couldn’t-“
“Yes, yes Su. You told me that a hundred times already. So what, you could always call him and tell him to drop by later, right?” Jaejoong was already at the door, before he added, “and who knows, maybe you could get laid tonight!”
“Hyung!” Junsu squeaked and threw his dolphin a little too late at the closed door.
Alone again, he heaved a sigh before grabbing the remote control and promptly switched off the TV. His eyes caught the sight of the moon; it seemed to be shining gracefully tonight through the wide glass door to his balcony. Smiling at the sight, Junsu soon finding himself standing at his balcony, the rounded moon was now casting it glows on Junsu as if smiling at him. Cocking one brow, Junsu chuckled at his own thought. It was so corny, so Yoochun. Apparently the man with those warm eyes had such effect on him.
Junsu held the moon in his gaze as he drank up the beautiful sight. It was full moon, so big and rounded and so perfect; and hanging gorgeously in the night sky as tiny stars scattered around it, like little diamonds scattered on a black silky cloth. Junsu thought of Yoochun, of how nice it would be if the other man was here with him and suddenly he missed Yoochun terribly.
Junsu fished out his mobile from his sweatpants pocket and quickly typed a text message to Yoochun.
‘Chunnie, the moon is so beautiful tonight. I wish you were here.’
He looked at the smiling moon once more before rereading the line and deleted it; deciding not to disturbed Yoochun with such petty things. With the mobile safely put back in his pocket, Junsu trotted back to the living room and plunged himself onto his favorite couch but still unable to think of anything else besides Yoochun; pondering silently how lucky he had been for having Yoochun in his life. Junsu remembered what Yunho said, that he had never seen anyone loving someone like Yoochun loves Junsu. And Junsu knew he was being greedy when he couldn’t let the man go, even when he had hurt and disappoint Yoochun so many times before.
And Junsu also remembered the warmth of Yoochun’s smile just a week ago.
( “you know su, i’m surprised yunho would let you drive his car. he never even let me drive this baby,” yoochun broke the comfortable silence cocooning them on their drive back from the airport.
junsu watched as yoochun skillfully turned the steering wheel as they took a roundabout. he watched those pair of hands moved smoothly and couldn’t help but wondered what would it feel to have them marching passionately on his skin. he caught himself at the thought and blushed furiously.
“su, are you okay? your face is red. is it too cold?” yoochun’s worried voice shook him back into reality and he found the man looking at him with concern eyes; but still being careful with the driving.
“ah, um. no-nothing,” he stammered. junsu shoved his hands into his sweater front pockets to calm himself and made a face when he felt something there, and then he remembered.
“chun-“ his voice halted as he held out the small black box in his palm for yoochun to see. “this?”
yoochun looked at the box, and something passed his handsome face for a split second before a casual smile took its place. “oh, did yunho give this to you?”
junsu nodded.
“do you like it?”
“..yes.”
“do you want it?”
“..yes. i mean, no. no, i mean-“
“never mind, su,” yoochun said with a cheery smile as he casually grabbed the box with one hand from junsu’s palm and shoved it into his pants pocket.
he pulled out an empty hand from the pocket and reached to held junsu’s own, squeezing it lightly.
“i know.” )
A violent vibration of his mobile dragged Junsu back into the present. He looked at the caller ID and a bright smile appeared on his face.
“Yoochun?”
“Hey baby,” hearing his lover’s sexy voice already sent the chills down his spine. “What are you doing? Wait let me guess, missing me?”
Junsu laughed. Yoochun could be so full of himself, but he wasn’t going to deny the man this time. “You could say so,” he replied and swore he could hear Yoochun grinning at the other end.
“Baby, can you see the full moon from your balcony now?” Yoochun suddenly asked, and Junsu stole a glance at the moon again, smiling.
“Yes, why?”
“It’s so beautiful and mesmerizing. Reminds me a lot of you.”
Junsu giggled. “Corny, Park Yoochun.”
“And it’s so rounded and perfect. Reminds me of your-“
“Yah! What are you saying?!” Junsu’s voice went a pitch higher, and Yoochun chuckled heartily.
“It’s true though,” the older man insisted. “Su?”
“Yes?”
“Open the door please.”
“Why? Are you here?” Junsu squeaked excitedly as he started to half-run to the door.
“Not telling.” Click.
He swiftly opened the door only to be greeted by the empty night, and frowned. What was Yoochun thinking? Feeling disappointed, he turned back to close the door but suddenly felt a pair of familiar lips pecked his cheek.
“Babe,” Yoochun called out as he stepped from the side, obviously proud of himself for stealing a taste of Junsu’s white skin.
“Chun!” Junsu grinned widely at the sight of his boyfriend. “I thought you have a business dinner,” he said as he pecked the older man on the lips. It was a mere second but Junsu couldn’t help but to decide that Yoochun tasted good.
Yoochun shrugged.
“Yunho kicked me out. Said I wasn’t helping the deal at all unless I clear my mind by proposing to you like I should,” he replied as he looked directly into Junsu’s surprised eyes.
“I know I’m the romantic one,” Yoochun continued and Junsu cocked an eyebrow, “and I’m supposed to come up with romantic lines proclaiming my love for you,” this time Junsu giggled, “but somehow I’m just so nervous so please just say yes, okay?” and now Junsu was speechless as his heart skipped a beat.
“Kim Junsu, I love you very much, and will always be. Will you marry me?” Yoochun said nervously as he held out his hand, revealing the beautiful silver ring that Junsu had seen before.
Junsu’s eyes traveled back and forth between Yoochun’s face but he said nothing, which agitated Yoochun even more.
“Um, do you want me to bend down on my knee?” he asked nervously.
Another moment of silence passed before Junsu smiled.
“Yes.”
“You seriously want me to get on my knee?” Yoochun’s eyes widened. “Okay then-“
“No you silly! Yes, I will marry you!”
“You do?!”
Junsu figured out he could only drive Yoochun’s out from his momentarily silly state by kissing the man full on the lips. And so he did.
“Wow.” Yoochun muttered after they pulled away. He hastily put the ring on Junsu’s finger and both smiled as the band sat perfectly there, shining prettily.
“Wow.” Junsu’s voice echoed before he realized Yoochun’s was shivering.
“Chunnie?”
“Can we get in now Su? It’s co~old here,” Yoochun said. “And I need you to cuddle me unless you want me to fall sick,” he looked at his Junsu with puppy eyes.
Laughing, Junsu leaned towards Yoochun.
“I love you Park Yoochun, and I definitely don’t want you to get sick,” he whispered seductively. “Let me warm you up,” he continued, and mentally had to admit that Yoochun’s cheesiness was definitely growing on him.
Junsu captured Yoochun’s lips again, this time in a more passionate kiss, and with their tongues still battling with each other, he led the delighted man inside his apartment and the door closed behind them with a silent click.
