Well, I'm awake. Yay. It's Monday again, and all the things that means, plus! Summer vacation is almost over. Ian goes to Freshman Orientation in an hour. Yay!

I am, again, sorry for bailing on Blue team yesterday. Some RL shit came up. (Aside: Teenagers are just fucking stupid, is the conclusion I'm coming to.)

I need to shake a tail feather. I'm getting behind.

Re: The Poker Game: Um. Drunk boys playing poker. Yeah. I'll post another exerpt- I did the mitten yesterday, right? Not fair to bully Lex so much...

And in my defense, they are all drunk.

"You're drunk." [Clark said.]

"Am not." [Lex said.] Bruce rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, you are. Fortunately, so is he." Clark blinked.

"You aren't."

"Of course I am. You're so drunk you can't tell anymore." Clark thought that one over. Lex snickered into his palm.

"I don't know. I don't think that makes sense," Clark said finally.

"That's because you've never been drunk before. Do you feel sort of light? Do I seem far to reasonable?"

"You always sound reasonable. Even when you're being crazy." Clark reached out and grabbed Lex's shoulder. "Did you know that he-" He brandished his cards, fanned out, at Bruce- "He climbed into a crazy Atlantian world melty thing? Crossed his fingers and hoped it wouldn't melt him and hopped right in!" Bruce leaned on his hand.

"I didn't think you knew about that."

"Are you kidding? You gave John nightmares. And penis envy." Lex laughed himself clean off of his chair. Bruce blinked rapidly. He couldn't come up with an answer to that.

"Er. Yay, me. Can we just get back to the game? Please?"

"Oh, stop being modest," Lex said from the floor. "You make everyone seem inadequate." Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose. There was the tiniest hint of a blush spread across his cheeks.
"Um. Clark? Action's still on you." Lex and Clark shared a look. Bruce blinked frowned, and groaned into his palm. They started to snicker.
