Yesterday was a very odd day at Enterprise, for one is was crazy busy, but I guess that is normal for Mondays. One of our cleaning/ driving guys ended up going numb on one side of his entire body and we had to call an ambulance. So in the middle of the rush we had a cop car, ambulance and fire engine out in the back lot. The sad thing about it all is that no one seemed to really care that he was going to the hospital, me might be a bit strange but he is one of our coworkers just the same. I just hope that he is alright. Also yesterday a very old asian man kissed me on the cheek.......nasty old guys piss me off. You could tell it was not him just being cute neither, he really puckered up man. I just walked away, there was no use saying anything to anyone or getting pissed off at him because I mean the man was ancient, I just let it go.....but I was really grossed out about it to say the least. I had planned on leaving yesterday early at 3:30pm because working a 6:45-6:30 shift just did not seem like a swell idea on a monday, especially after only having one day off last week (I am going to have to do it eventually though =( ). 20 minutes before I was going to leave I did a pickup at the airport, which seemed routine enough for me. Well I get there and there was a family of four waiting for me and I swear a mound of luggage that had to be twice there weight. I had drove this massive beast of a silverado and let me tell ya that sucker was full. Once we got to the branch the father of the family decided that he did not want anything latger than a compact car (we did end up giving him a corrolla) so yeah I spent the next 20 minutes or so shoving massive amounts of luggage into a relatively small sized trunk, then I had to still go over the contract with them and check over the car....yeah I did not leave work until after 4:30pm. This morn I have an appointment before work at the business office and I am seriously thinking about cancelling. Going to the Dr. Office is one of my least favorite things to do, plus I could really use this morning to chill out a bit. I am going to die come the middle of the week, I will be working two 11 hour shifts at Enterprise, seriously I can not believe just how many hours people work there. Seriously a fulltimer typically puts in 5 6:45am - 6:30pm shifts a week and every other week also has to put in a saturday 8:45-1:00 shift!!! That is one thing that is really, really hard for me to even try and accept. A 55-60 hour workweek is definitely not Angie style and to be honest that is not even fit for humans.
