(no subject)
I am so fricken thrilled, I finally know the training days for my new job and they just happen to be 3 days from now. So next week I will not be working at all at the Business office, rather I will be starting my training with Enterprise!!!! I am so thrilled to be starting up a job that is going to be a great experience for me and also be competitive and challenging at the same time. Since the spring semester ended I have almost never felt challenged and I feel like I am losing touch with my own abilities.
The only crumby thing about starting next weeks is that working 8am-5pm will leave me with no time to work on my documents for new student orientation which has a deadline for completion of Aug 2nd...YIKES! I freaked out for just a few minutes but then realized that there is always the libraries at Manoa. This saves me from spending a fortune at Kinkos, but it will take up the majority of my Saturday =(
Its alright, this weekend is looking up. Tonight I plan on drinking lots of beer (in the process now), eating fattening pizza, maybe painting a bit and then going to sleep. Sometime between tomorrow and Sun I am going to spend lots of money on new cloths for my job, shopping spree for Ang! I will also be hanging out with Holly and Val and going out to eat yummy thai food.
I just feel so excited about getting the ball rolling. I have felt to idle lately it is not even funny, humiliation and that inevitable uncomfortable period is just what I need to shake my ass back to reality.
