to do in the next four days:
-transcribe word-for-word onto my laptop ninety minutes of interviews i conducted with people on the street.
-conduct at least twelve more interviews with people on the street. then transcribe those onto my laptop also. this is going to take awhile because i have only done three interviews and each one averaged 30 minutes.
-make sense of what they´ve said and try to congeal it into some sort of thesis/point that i theoretically already have in my research paper.
-read 500 pages of photocopied articles for my UBA seminar.
-write paper on the 500 pages i have yet to read.
-meet with daniel, (a.k.a. my tutor and grammar professor who I absolutely detest) and let him tear apart my research paper.
-reconstruct research paper
-turn in research paper and UBA seminar paper, both by wednesday.
-pray i don´t fail my UBA paper, unlike the last one.
-figure out when i have time to fly out to the province of Neuquèn to visit Marta, a friend and past PHd student of my father, then purchase the ticket.
-DO ALL OF THE ABOVE IN SPANISH
-fight with the Lorain County absentee voters´office and convince them that i didn´t receive my absentee voter´s ballot and they need to either fax it to me or fed ex it because regular mail doesn´t cut it in developing countries.
-figure out when i´m coming back to the states and then purchase a return flight back. right now it´s looking like i´m arriving on the 23rd, with a six-hour layover in dallas.

(if I receive one more email from someone telling me that i´m bad at keeping in touch, i´m going to break this computer right here in the internet café.)
