Snowy Saturday
I enjoyed our long FALL that lasted well into Novemeber. We often have Halloween Blizards so I was spoiled! But today it snowed, & snowed & snowed. I felt like hibernating & refused to leave the house! Chris HAD to get cat food or they might have eaten us. We neeeded to grocery shop BADLY. Last night we had leftover soup .... I made a broth & threw in random things I could find! Tonight I was desperate but DETERMINED not to leave so we had breakfast for dinner!
Just saw MR & MRS. Smith ...very slooooow at first but gets funny.
Their banter during a car chase in a minivan was hilarious!
John Smith: [during a car chase] I never told you, but I was married once before.
Jane Smith: [slams on the brakes]
John Smith: What's wrong with you?
Jane Smith: [hitting John] You're what's wrong with me John.
John Smith: It was just a drunken Vegas thing.
Jane Smith: Oh, that's better. That's *much* better.
[pause]
Jane Smith: What's her name and social security number?
John Smith: No, you're not gonna kill her.
Jane Smith: My parents died when I was five. I'm an orphan.
John Smith: Who was that kind fellow who gave you away at our wedding?
Jane Smith: Paid actor.
John Smith: I said, I said I saw your dad on "Fantasy Island"!
I must be old I haven't seen a really good movie in sometime!
I will say, if I needed motivation to work out & I don't ~Mrs. Smith sure provides some!!
