Questionniare #42 - Change
Name one thing about your physical appearance would you change. I bet you think I'd like to be taller - nope. I'd like to have better looking hair and maybe not be quite so pale.
Name one thing about your mate's physical appearance would you change. I'd fix his ankle so that it doesn't hurt him anymore - and so he could play football because it's important to him.
Name one thing about your life would you change. I would have found a way to keep at least some of my friends when Mark and I split.
Name one thing about your mate's life would you change. It sounds redundant but I'd fix his ankle so he could play football. There's this open wound in him that I think can only be healed by something that can never happen.
Name one thing you did that made negative changes in your life. Would you do it again? I went on that book tour and I didn't call that often or e-mail or anything. I was having a blast, though - an absolute blast. Yeah, I would. Mark and weren't really right together. I believed we were at the time, but I know better now.
Name one thing you did that made positive changes in your life. I went back into the bar and asked for a jump. Hand to god, I think that bartender was trying to set me up with Nick.

Do you believe in love at first sight? No.
Are you in love right now? I'm starting to think so, yes.
Is anyone in love with you? I don't know. He's got a lot of resistance and fear built up, I don't know if love can break through that or not.
Has anyone ever broken your heart? I thought Mark did at the time. Now, I know he just dinged it a bit. I think Nick could break my heart if he ever did something like what Mark did to me, but I don't think he could. I don't think he has it in him to be that cruel - and I am eternally grateful for that.
What is the best thing about being in love? Connection. Having that one other person who believes in you no matter what else happens.
What is the worst thing about being in love? Vulnerability. Giving that one other person the ability to hurt the hell out of you, which I've pretty much done at this point.
